Possibly inspired by the comedy horror film Snakes on a Plane, a woman in Stockholm, Sweden, was arrested trying to smuggle 75 live snakes in her bra, according to research by the online travel agent www.sunshine.co.uk. Officials became suspicious when they spotted the woman repeatedly scratching her chest. Clearly they were either very small snakes, or the lady in question was wearing a very large bra.

Milwaukee Army reservist’s military identification earned him some street cred Tuesday, when he says four men who mugged him at gunpoint returned his belongings and thanked him for his service after finding the ID.

The 21-year-old University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student said he was walking home from work about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday when he was pulled into an alley and told to lay face down and with a gun to his neck. Four men took his wallet, $16, keys, his cell phone and even a PowerBar wrapper from his pants pockets, he said.

Police said the boy faked his kidnapping Friday to avoid bringing home a bad report card, saying that a man with a pistol snatched him after he left Ed White Middle School. The boy said the man forced him into a “beat-up car” and threatened to kill him.

A 92-year-old New Hampshire woman said she jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet to “just try something different for a change.”

Jane Bockstruck of Swanzey said she does not know exactly what inspired her to go skydiving Sept. 19 at Jumptown in Orange, Mass., but she was determined to follow through after making the plan, The Keene (N.H.) Sentinel reported Monday.

“I must have read it someplace and all of a sudden, ‘I’m going to go skydiving.’ So I did,” Bockstruck said. “I’ve done so many things in life, I figured I’d just try something different for a change.”

Suicide bomber Abdullah Hassan Tali al-Asiri attempted to kill a Saudi prince by detonating explosives hidden in his bottom.

Al-Asiri, 23, managed to blow himself up in the attack in Jeddah, but his target, Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef, escaped with minor injuries.

Security experts said they have not come across a bomber who has concealed explosives in this way.

“We’ve never heard of anything quite like this before,” a source told The Sun.

Prince Nayef is the head of the security service in Saudi Arabia.

So i thought the goal was to get OUT of jail… not …not to get back in..

A man was seriously injured after he climbed a fence and fell through razor wire while attempting to get back into jail because he said threats were made against his life, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said that Sylvester Jiles, 24, came to the jail at about 7:30 p.m. Monday and told corrections officers he needed to be placed in protective custody due to the threats.

WKMG-TV reported that Jiles was released from jail on Friday and was given probation for a manslaughter conviction.
