WOW She has fallen a long way! Man she ain't what she used to be!
So i just read and found out the Toni Braxton has Microvascular Angina aka Cardiac syndrome X. My question is what is this disease that i have never EVER heard of so i did a little googling. ( Yes this is my favorite search engine) and this is what i came up with.
Microvascular Angina is “A condition in which patients have the pain of angina, but they do not have CAD. So even though patients with cardiac syndrome X have symptoms of CAD, the coronary arteries are clear of blockages.”( Source)
This is an extended definition “A person with cardiac syndrome X has symptoms due to low blood oxygen levels in the heart.
Cardiac syndrome X is a type of angina. Angina is caused by narrowing of the large coronary arteries. Cardiac syndrome X is caused by narrowing of the smaller vessels within heart muscle. People with cardiac syndrome X have symptoms similar to those with angina, but rarely suffer heart attacks.” (Source)
So my next question is… what the hell is an Angina?
Defined as “The temporary pain or discomfort that occurs whenever part of the heart muscle cannot get enough oxygen-rich blood through the coronary arteries to meet the heart’s needs.”
To put a long story short it is basically a chest pain that Toni Braxton is making out a big ass deal. I mean i know they say any pubilicity is good publicity but damn. Anyway, the topic of the day is: Is Tony Braxton having Microvascular Angina even damn news worthy or just a publicity stunt? You be the judge.
